Sermon - November 27, 2016 - Prepare, For the Lord Will Come Again Unexpectantly

The sermon for the First Sunday in Advent, November 27, 2016. The sermon text is based Romans 13:11-14.

 

Today's Focus: Prepare, for the Lord will come again unexpectantly. There are no surprises with Christmas. We know exactly when December 25th will arrive. We can calculate the very minute. That is not the case with Christ's second coming. We have no idea when it will take place. It could be ten-thousand years away. It could be in the next ten minutes. But God kept his promise to send Christ the first time; therefore, we have confident faith he will keep the promise to send Christ again. Because we do not know when that will be, we must always be prepared.
