Trinity of Woodbridge Sermon, 4-16-2023: From the Living Jesus Peace Comes

The Sermon for Sunday, April 16th, 2023, is based on John 20:19-31

Today’s Focus: The traditional name for this Sunday translates as, “just like newborns.” On the night of Easter, Jesus appeared to his fearful disciples to refresh their faith and calm their fears; one week later he appeared again to drive away Thomas’ doubt and renew his faith. Jesus is always working to calm his followers’ fears and to make their faith as fresh, pure, and lively as a newborn baby. Our worship follows Service of Word Sacrament.
