Trinity of Woodbridge Sermon, 7-17-2022: Jesus is the Christ and the Cross

The Sermon for Sunday, July 17th, 2022, is based on Luke 9:18-24

Today’s Focus: Only the eyes of Christian faith can see Jesus for who he really is: the divine Savior from sin. Christian faith sees this truth even when all visible evidence shouts that it cannot be true. Christian faith also sees Jesus’ true mission of saving us from our sins with his cross, and the impact this work has on how we view our own crosses. Our worship follows Service of Word and Sacrament.
