Today's Focus: Joy to the world, The Lord is come! This morning we gather for the festival of Epiphany which celebrates Jesus as Savior of the whole world. The festival of Epiphany of our Lord is the second oldest festival celebrated by the Church, dating to the second century. Tuesday Dec 25, 2018
The sermon for Sunday, December 23, 2018, is based on John 1:1-14
Today's Focus: A Light in the Darkness. Light and Darkness are polar opposites. Where one advances, the other must retreat. Thus, they parallel the ultimate of polar opposites-goos and evil, holiness and sin. Ever since mankind fell into sin, God promised to send a great Light to pierce the darkness of sin and death.

Sermon - December 23, 2018 - Get Ready! He Comes with Gifts!
Sunday Dec 23, 2018
Sunday Dec 23, 2018
The sermon for Sunday, December 23, 2018, is based on Hebrews 10:5-10
Today's Focus: Get ready! He comes with gifts! What's the best way to prepare for our Savior's coming? It's not with frantic doing. It's not with a focus on what we have done or promise to do. It's not with how we will pay back what he comes to bring. The best preparation for Christmas is a readiness to receive the gifts that he brings. During this sermon, we pause to consider the greatest gift that we and the world have been given. As we do, may God move our hearts to proclaim with Mary, "My spirit rejoices in God my Savior!"

Sunday Dec 02, 2018
Sermon - December 2, 2018 - Keep Watch
Sunday Dec 02, 2018
Sunday Dec 02, 2018
The sermon for Sunday, December 2, 2018, is based on Luke 21:25-36
Today's Focus: Keep Watch! Jesus will come again! Those who are busy doing their own thing, serving self, looking only for the cute and entertaining things that have become such a part of the world's Christmas culture, will not be ready for either his coming in grace or his coming in judgement. Make no mistake about it: He comes! He comes in grace! He comes in judgement! How then should we prepare for both comings? We do well to turn our eyes away from the glitter and the clutter of the world and focus them instead first on our need for his coming and then on his sure and certain promise to fulfill that need when he comes. We eagerly prepare by repentant watching.
